Evaggelos “Angelo” Foufas, 77, of Hamilton, passed away peacefully on Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Compassionate Care Hospice at RWJ Hamilton, after a brief illness. Born and raised in Perama, Greece, Angelo joined the Navy and later the Merchant Marines. He traveled extensively all over the world, finally settling in Hamilton Township, NJ in 1966. He worked very hard, starting his own painting business. Angelo lived life to the fullest, and enjoyed traveling back to Greece to visit with loved ones and friends. But what he loved the most was spending times with those he loved, his beloved family. He was a life member of the Ancient Order of Hibernians, (AOH) and you could always catch him there hanging with his buddies. Predeceased by his parents, Georgios and Stella Foufas. He is survived by his wife and best friend, Debra Foufas; his son George (Beth): his daughter Stella (Sam): the mother of his children, Joyce, his sister Paula of Greece, his granddaughters, Ashley and Wendi and their beloved dad Nelson: the love of his life, his great grandson Neji; his step children, Maureen (David) and Michael (Lauren): step grandchildren Isabella, David, Henry and Eli, and his canine companion Charlie. Angelo will be sadly missed by all who loved him. A Celebration of Angelo's Life will take place on Sunday December 2, 2018 from 10:00am-12:00pm at the Ancient Order of Hibernians, (AOH), 2419 Kuser Road, Hamilton, NJ 08690 with a service to be conducted by Pastor Merlene Taylor at 11:30am.
