Mary J. Gore, 99 of Hamilton has been accepted into God's loving embrace on Saturday, February 9, 2019 at her residence surrounded by her beautiful family. “Grammy” as she was affectionately referred to, was a talented artist who was compassionate about painting, pottery, and music. She earned a degree in Art History from Mercer County Community College and enjoyed playing the harp and piano as was eager to teach students to play the piano as well. During World War II, she worked at Eastern Aircraft with her strong hands machining engine cowlings for fighter jets. Heroic some would say, as she assisted medical personnel during the Hindenburg disaster at Lakehurst, New Jersey in 1937. Grammy also volunteered for the Red Cross as a swim instructor. She had a wonderful sense of humor, always pleasant and kind. She will be deeply missed by her family. Mrs. Gore is predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Gore and brother Raphael J. Pantaleone. Left to cherish her wonderful memory are her loving children, Joseph Thomas Gore and Joanine Pataleone, caring grandchildren, Edward Pantaleone (Loreen), Michael Pantaleone, David Pantaleone (Angela), Rapael J. Pantaleone, Jr. (Jennifer), MaryJo Gore, and Thomas Gore (Janel), and great granchildren, Kaitlyn, Anais, and Julian Pantaleone, and Mason Gore as well as other family members and friends, Josephine, Susan, and Kathryn will will miss her deeply. Funeral Mass will be held Friday, February 15, 2019, 11:00am at St. Anthony's Church, 626 South Olden Avenue, Hamilton NJ 08629. Family and friends will begin to gather at 10:30am at the church Friday morning. Interment: St. Mary's Cemetery, Hamilton Township. Arrangements under the auspices of David C. Chiacchio and the dedicated staff of the Chiacchio Southview Funeral Home.
